The Florence and Laurence Spungen Family Foundation Presents Holocaust Exhibit at Chicagoland Jewish High School

Join us on Sunday, April 10 for an opportunity to witness the destruction of Europe through the eyes of some of the people whose lives were forever affected by the Holocaust. In collaboration with the Florence & Laurence Spungen Family Foundation, Danny Spungen presents: “The Nazi Scourge: Postal Evidence of the Holocaust and the Devastation of Europe.”

This exhibit will bring some of the rarest collections in history right into your hands. Examine over 300 hundred postal artifacts and documents from World War II—the era when Nazis attempted to exterminate Jews and other individuals. The exhibit will be open from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. on April 10 at Chicagoland Jewish High School, 1095 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield.

In addition, we are privileged to have Eva Kor, founder of the CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Mengele twin survivor, share her personal story of life in Auschwitz Concentration Camp in the 45-minute documentary, Forgiving Dr. Mengele. After the showing, Helen Rappaport, another Mengele twin survivor from the Chicagoland area, will join Kor for a discussion.
