GBN Makes ‘Most Challenging High School’ List

Glenbrook North ranked as the 26th most challenging in Illinois.

Glenbrook North High School ranked 26 on a Washington Post list of the state’s most challenging high schools. Nationally it is ranked 917. Fewer than 10 percent of high schools nationally made the list.

That's a higher ranking than it's earned the past several years on the same list and is one spot above Glenbrook South.

The ranking uses the number of college-level tests given at the school divided by the number of graduates.
