Kyle Caraher Inspires Playground Fundraiser

Caraher was a Glenbrook North senior when he past away last summer. His family and St. Norbert's are raising money in his name to build a new playground at St. Norbert's School.

Friends of Northbrook's Caraher family are raising money for a new playground at St. Norbert School in memory of Kyle Caraher, the 17-year-old Glenbrook North football player who passed away a year ago in a car accident.

"...while this is a private school, the playground will always be open to everyone in the community," the Dreaming Tree site reads. "It is Kyle’s parent’s dream that his Dreaming Tree be a place where children and families come to enjoy their day, hang out with their friends and feel the breeze that lives in Kyle’s memory."

Patch blogger and Northbrook realtor Kati Spaniak will be collecting donations for Kyle's Dreaming Tree at the St. Norbert Block Party on Saturday, June 8.
