Auto Parts Store Moving Into Walgreens Space at Meadow Shopping Plaza
Advance Auto Parts will move into the 14,000-square-foot space that Walgreens left five years ago.
Advance Auto Parts is going to move into the large, empty space in Northbrook’s Meadow Shopping Plaza that used to house a Walgreens, the Northbrook Star reports.
While an auto parts store may not be the neighbor the plaza’s other shops were hoping for, the businesspeople said they are happy to have the 14,000-square-foot space filled with a retail store, the article says.
A 2011 poll of Patch readers about what they wanted to see happen with Meadow Plaza showed that the prevailing opinion was to raze the mall and start anew.
