Northbrook Investor Named to Crain’s ‘Twenty In Their 20s’ List

Crain’s singled out Sam Barnett, CEO of Northbrook’s SBB Research Group in its “Twenty In Their 20s” List this week.

“They're eager. They're innovative. And they're not yet 30,” Crain’s says of its picks. “Introducing 20 locals who are making their mark on their respective industries – and whose names you should know now.

Barnett, 24, runs the four-year-old investment firm that has raised $125 million so far with returns of 1-2 percent per month, according to Crain’s.

Barnett is also a professional tennis player ranked 800 worldwide and getting his doctorate at Northwestern in neuroscience and finance.
