District 28's HOH 5K Run/Walk

The District 28 PTO Council’s annual HOH 5K Run/Walk, which benefits the District 28 Homer O. Harvey Scholarship Fund, kicks off at 8 a.m. on Sept. 29 at Northbrook Junior High School. A Kids’ Race for children 11 and under starts at 9 a.m. that morning.

Early registration on or before Sept 14 is $20 for an adult, $15 for a youth (14 and under), and $10 for the Kids’ Race. Participants who register early are guaranteed a “dri-fit” T-Shirt.

Race Day registration begins at 7 a.m. and is $25 for an adult, $18 for a youth, and $10 for the Kids’ Race.

To register online, go to signmeup.com/84963. The HOH 5K Run/Walk page is available under “PTO” at the top of the District website.

This is the seventh annual fundraising 5K walk/run sponsored by District 28’s PTO Council. The event helps to fund college scholarships for outstanding Glenbrook North High School graduates who are District 28 alumni. The scholarship fund was established in 1989. Dr. Homer O. Harvey was the superintendent of District 28 and dedicated his professional career to providing high standards of excellence and learning for the students of District 28.
