Start the Fourth on your feet! All ages can enjoy a scenic run or walk on a certified 5K course from the Northbrook Park District. Winners receive plaques, and preregistered participants receive Dri-Fit T-shirts and goodie bags. A supervised activity area is available for children ages 4-10 during the race.
Children 5 and under can run/walk at no charge but need to be registered. Forms are available at Registration Offices and online. Race day registration is available on site from 6:30-7am.
Following the Liberty Loop, junior joggers can enjoy a one-mile Liberty Loop Fun Run for ages 4-10. Each child will receive a merit award, gift bag and miniature American flag at the finish. The Park District will donate proceeds from both races to the volunteer Northbrook 4th of July Association.
