The second annual Bike 4 Friendship ride will stop for in Northbrook next Friday August 3 at about 3:00pm. The Friendship Circle will be hosting a special community Shabbat dinner at 7:15pm to welcome the group and give people an opportunity to thank them for their dedication to the program.

This year’s ride has drawn bikers from a variety of different backgrounds, from experts to amateurs, but all share a passion for helping children with special needs. Two of the cyclists are from the Chicagoland area, one form New York, some from California and one member of an elite unit in the IDF.

The Ride will continue Sunday morning (August 5th) at 6:00am from Chabad of Northbrook at 2095 Landwehr Rd, Northbrook, IL.

The Stuart I Raskas Friendship Circle of Illinois established in 2006, serves more than 70 children with special needs, principally by pairing them with 85 teen volunteers who befriend the children and act as role models. There 82 Friendship Circle chapters worldwide, mostly in the US.
