The Western Amateur Golf Championship comes to the historic North Shore Country Club in Glenview August 1-6. The top amateur golfers from 34 states and 9 countries will compete with 2011 winner, David Chung returning to defend his championship. Jack Nicklaus, the winner 50 years ago, joins Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods are past winners. Admission is free. Bring the family to see excellent golf.
