Glenbrook North seniors arranged a hockey game fundraiser for Mark Beban, 37, a former Spartan hockey player and married father of three, who was recently diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, the Northbrook Star reports.
The benefit game was held on Sunday at the Northbrook Sports Center, and $2,500 were raised for LUNGevity, a cancer research organization, according to the Northbrook Star.
