Nate Elfant scored a 9.3 on the vault in Saturday night's state gymnastics meet, tying for second place during his first career trip to state finals, CSL Insider reports.
The Glenbrook North senior earned all-around fifth place in the gymnastics meet, according to CSL Insider.
“Yeah, I’m happy with that,” Elfant told the Morton Grove Champion, regarding his vault score. “...I’m both physically and mentally exhausted. I went in there and gave it my best shot and I’m happy with the way it went.”
