Spring sports are underway, which teams are off to strong starts?

If you're tired of wondering what went wrong with , check out some early spring sports results.

GIRLS SOCCER - Glenbrook North won its season opener 4-0 against Lincoln Park Tuesday. Casey Kurz scored twice and Nora O'Neill had one goal and one assist. On Saturday they took a loss at Loyola, 1-0. The Spartans (1-1) will host Ressurection on Wednesday and Glenbrook South on Thursday. Both games will be at the Techny Fields.

SOFTBALL - The Spartans began the season with a 1-2 showing at the Barrington Spring Fling. Jenny McTague helped capture the win in the 5-4 victory against Lake Zurich on Monday, but they lost 3-2 to Warren on Tuesday and 5-3 to Zion-Benton the next day. GBN's only game this week is at Glenbrook South on Thursday.

BOYS GYMNASTICS - After losing the first dual of the season to the Highland Park/Deerfield Coop team on March 2, GBN has won three straight duals. On Tuesday, the Spartans beat Maine East 124.1-96.8 and followed that up with a 119.6-92.8 win at Evanston two days later. The 124.1 against Maine East is the season high. Up next is a dual at Stevenson on Thursday.
