Spartans Among League's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year

Glenbrook North's quarterback and linebacker were recognized as Central Suburban League's offensive and defensive players of the year.

Despite Glenbrook North's loss to Wheaton North in last week's round one, playoff match, the Central Suburban League has recognized two Spartan athletes among this year's Players of the Year.

GBN quarterback AJ Spitz was recognized as the CSL's offensive player of the year, and linebacker Brady Nagel is the 2013 defensive player of the year.

The Spartans finished their season with six wins and three losses, but finished undefeated in the five games they played against opponents within their conference.
