Calling All Trojan Fans: Show Your Pride!

Cary-Grove High School football fans, support your Trojans team on the Crystal Lake-Cary Patch Facebook page in a competition against Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Patch.

Ok, Trojan fans.

The editor of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Patch, Paula Skaggs, thinks she can get more support from her Lake Forest High School "Scouts" football fans on the  Lake Forest Patch Facebook page than we can on the Crystal Lake-Cary Patch Facebook page.

Obviously, she is not familiar with the energy and enthusiasm of the Cary-Grove Superfans!

In honor of Saturday's big IHSA varsity football semifinals game between Cary-Grove and Lake Forest high schools, we Patch editors decided to wage a friendly competition to see who could get more fans to like a Football Fans post on our Facebook pages.

Click here to visit the "Show Your Support for the Cary-Grove Trojans" post on the Crystal Lake-Cary Patch Facebook page. Like the post and share it with your friends.

Oh, feel free to "Like" the page while you're there!  Whichever Facebook post gets the most "Likes" wins! Lake Forest hosts Cary-Grove at 4 p.m. Nov. 17, at its West Campus.

GO TROJANS!   GO TROJANS!   GO TROJANS!

Trojans are tromping the Scouts in the Facebook Fans challenge. Current tally: 150 "Likes" from Trojan fans on the Crystal-Lake Cary Patch Facebook page. Only 54 "Likes" on the Lake Forest Patch Facebook page. ......Keep sharing that link Trojans. (I think Lake Forest Patch should send us a prize of some sort).

Help Trojan fans....Lake Forest has surpassed us and has over 350 "Likes" on their football team photograph. Crystal Lake-Cary Patch has more than 254 "Likes" on its Trojans photo (a much better pic I must say!). Please "Like" the Trojan photo on the CrystalLake-CaryPatch Facebook page and share the link. We don't want Lake Forest to win this contest.
