Communities all over the Chicago area will offer fireworks in the coming days.

Patch has put together a map detailing where and when fireworks will be offered in communities throughout the north and northwest suburbs. There is also a full list of the fireworks shows listed below. 

The white star markers on the map are for fireworks shows on July 4th while the blue markers indicate shows after July 4th and the red markers are for shows before July 4th.

JULY 4TH FIREWORKS IN NORTH, NORTHWEST SUBURBS

Host: Skokie Parade and 3-D Fireworks
Date: 7/4/13
Time: Dusk
Location: Nile West High School
Admission: 
Details: The parade will step off at noon and will run from Oakton Community Colllege to Oakton Park. The fun will move to Niles West High School at 5 p.m. where there will be food, drinks and live bands until dusk. The first 10,000 patrons for the 3-D Fireworks Fest will receive a free pair of 3-D glasses.

Host: Morton Grove Days
Date: 7/4/13
Time: 9:45 p.m.
Location: American Legion Memorial Civic Center
Admission: 
Details: A parade will be held at 2:30 p.m. From 5 to 11 p.m., there will be a carnival and food court available. There will be entertainment and beer garden from 6 to 9:45 p.m.

Host: July 4th Events

Location: Century Park
Admission: 
Details: A parade will kick off at 9 a.m. at Deerpath and Atrium Drive, just south of Highway 60 and will continue south to Sullivan Drive and then west to Aspen. Live entertainment will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in Century Park, and the fireworks are set to begin at about 9:30 p.m. over Big Bear and Little Bear lakes.

Host: Wilmette Independence Day Fireworks
Date: 7/3/13
Time: 9:30 p.m.
Location: Gillson Park
Admission: 
Details: Independence Day festivities and fireworks will take place on Wednesday starting at 4 p.m. There will be plenty of family-friendly entertainment as well as bands later in the evening. The Dooley Brothers will take to the stage post-fireworks. There will be games and rides also available.

Location: Gillson Park
Admission: Adult registration is $20 and $25 the day of the event. Registration for children is $10. Children five and under are free.
Details: There is an Adult Run for Fun, Adult Walk for Fun, a Youth Run and a Pee Wee Run for those five years old and younger.

Location: Arlington Park Race Track
Admission: $13-$15
Details: Gates open at 1 p.m. and horse racing starts at 3 p.m. and will continue until nightfall. How Far to Austin, a rock band, will be playing live throughout the day and night. The Robbie Gold Band will perform in the Winner's Circle before the fireworks.
