Long-Time District 30 B&G Leader to Retire
George Becker has helped maintain District 30 schools since 1984.
The men who keep up buildings and grounds around schools are as important to the health of a school as good teachers and support staff.
Just as George Becker who has worked in Northbrook/Glenview School District 30 since 1984 and as supervisor of buildings and grounds for the system in 1992.
Becker, a Rolling Meadows resident, is putting away his rakes and shovels, at least for District 30. He plans to retire this year. Patch asked him what he liked about his job, about his plans for retirement and the years in District 30.

Relax and spend time with my wife and grandchildren.

My flexibility of the day, to do whatever whenever.
