Northbrook's Art in the Park Starts Saturday
More than 70 artists will have work on display at the Village Green this weekend, including Northbrook resident Bonnie Lecat.
Art in the Park, a Northbrook Fine Arts Festival, will take place this weekend at the from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
More than 70 artists will have work for sale, including Northbrook resident Bonnie Lecat, a former art director and commercial illustrator who now makes tectured murals using wax, plaster and metallic paints.
The juried event is presented by the Village of Northbrook, the Northbrook Arts Commission and the Northbrook Park District. The festival also includes live music, children’s activities, a silent art auction; featuring participating artists, a young artists’ exhibit and a variety of tasty treats.
