Shermer Stories Ends First Season
This Saturday, costumed docents will be walking along Shermer Road and talking to people about Northbrook's history.
On Saturday evening, from 7 to 9 p.m., the will host the last Shermer Stories of their first summer season. The society's president said the first run went great.
"I think it’s been great," said Judy Hughes, president of the historical society. “We wanted to do something that was different."
Originally planned as a surprise to entertain people in Downtown Northbrook, the casual event briefly attracts people as they walk around.
