Temple Jeremiah to hold Special Needs Shabbat Worship

Temple Jeremiah, a Reform synagogue in Northfield, Ill., will be offering a Special Needs Worship service this Friday to welcome Shabbat, the Jewish sabbath.

"After the success of our Special Needs Rosh HaShanah Worship in the fall, we are excited to continue to offer unique opportunities to cater to individuals of all abilities," said Cantor Amy Zussman, Temple Jeremiah's cantor. "The service will be upbeat, inclusive, and accessible, and we look forward to welcoming people with special needs to spend Shabbat with us.”

Cantor Zussman said she hopes the service will appeal to people of all ages with special needs, along with their friends and family. The service is free and open to the community at large.

The service will be held on Friday, Feb. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Temple Jeremiah, 937 Happ Road, Northfield. For more information, watch the temple's YouTube video, or contact Cantor Zussman at 847.441.5760 or amy@templejeremiah.org.
