Happ Road Resurfacing Gets $216K State Funds

Gov. Quinn announced the funding Thursday as part of $18.3 million in road projects.

Northbrook drivers are the beneficiaries of part of the $18.3 million in road construction projects that Gov. Pat Quinn announced Thursday.

According to a press release from his office:

“Happ Road from Sunset Ridge Road to the village limits in Northbrook will be resurfaced for $216,068 by Peter Baker & Son Co. of Lake Bluff, the lowest of eight bidders. The work will also involve curb and gutter replacement, drainage structure adjustments, markings and signs.”
