MondayLabor Day Mini-Golf Tournament
Families can test their skills on the mini-golf course at Sportsman’s Country Club and compete for prizes at the annual Labor Day Tournament. Open play is from 9:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. and includes Adult/Junior Best Ball, Adult and Junior Stroke Play Divisions and a Hole-in-One Mystery. The fee is $12 per team. ThurdsaySchool’s Out Fun Trip
On September 5, when schools are closed for Rosh Hashanah, children can enjoy a Northbrook Park District trip to Action Territory in Kenosha for go-carts, bumper boats, laser tag, arcade games, unlimited mini-golf and a pizza lunch. FridayTalent Showdown Deadline
Get ready to share your talent for fun and prizes at Northbrook’s Talent Showdown. September 6 is the deadline to apply for the Park District contest. Audition categories are: Music, Singing, Dance, Comedy and Unusual Talent. Individuals or groups can submit an entry form with a DVD that shows their talent and a $5 fee. Entry forms are available at nbparks.org, the Leisure Center and Northbrook Sports Center. Semifinals are on September 27, and the finals are at Northbrook Autumnfest on October 5.
