Open and Closed in Northbrook on Monday

A recap of school closings and other weather updates in Northbrook on Monday.

It's another bitter cold Monday in Northbrook, with an expected high of -2 and dangerous wind chills as low as -25, according to the National Weather Service. 

The village of Northbrook has announced the following closures and schedule changes in town today. 
  • Northbrook Public Schools and Park District facilities will be closed on Monday, January 27.
  • The Northbrook Library will close early, at 5pm, on Monday, January 27.
  • Check the Park District website www.nbparks.org for updates on Tuesday's programs.
  • Advanced Disposal will be operating on Monday. If conditions prohibit service on Tuesday, they plan to get caught-up on Wednesday. 
  • The Village Hall will be open for normal business hours 8:30-4:30 this week.
  • The North Suburban YMCA is open today for all facilities and classes. Check the Y website for future weather updates.
