Watch People Fly Crazy Things at Flugtag

This week's '3 Things to Do Downtown' includes Redbull's Flugtag, a taco eating fest and a free museum day.

Come to Burnham Park on Saturday for the Redbull Flugtag (German for air show) to watch some spectacular feats of flight and, no doubt, failure. Teams compete to fly their own human-powered, self-made flying apparatus. First flight is at 1 p.m.

The museum offers a rich historical look at African-American history as well as featuring more contemporary exhibits. The current exhibit, KKK-“Kin Killin’ Kin” looks at the epidemic of black violence through the eyes of artist James Pate. The museum is open noon-5 p.m.
