Guy LeHouillier Allstate is the worst experience I have ever had with an isuance company. I would give them a negative five stars. My son was rear-ended by one of Allsates insued and for the first week Allstate refused to verify the at fault party was insured by them. It has been over two months since the vehicle was declared totaled and I still have not received compensation for the vehicle. I can't even get a return phone call. I have filed a coomplaint with the State of Wisconsin Insuance Commission and the BBB. If you are looking for insuance I would NOT recommend ALLSTATE

Not even one star would I give Allstate. Their service was totally not existent when it came to reporting to the State that I indeed did have insurance. They offered no help and getting a letter to state I did have insurance. When I called to notify them that I was paid up through Oct 20. 2012 and would be switching my insurance to another carrier, they canceled my insurance on Sept. 17th leaving me uninsured for a month. My finance company noted I did not have insurance during that time and wanted to charge me $321 for that laps. Allstate said they would re-instate the insurance during that time but, took 4 weeks to decide to do it. The finance company wanted their money so I had to pay them. I told Joyce with Allstate corporate they had taken too long but, the next month I got a bill from Allstate. Now I am expected to pay twice for something I didn't get in the first place. I hate Allstate. I will try to tell everyone I know how bad of a company they have been to me. They have no consideration for their clients.

I had boughten a house 9 months ago, I was insured through the company my realtor was insured through for the first 6 months of owning my home. so I thought I'd go with Allstate and get a better quote, which I did get a better price. within 2 months of being with Allstate, I get this phone call saying that Allstate will be cancelling my policy. I was told that an inspector drove by my house and they werent happy about the condition of the roof and shingles. mind you, it is a $200k house. Allstate told me that they will mail me a letter stating that they will eventually cancel my policy if I didnt get the roof replaced, they gave me the date of April 1st 2013. I called Allstate March 22, 2013 to pay my home owners and auto policies. auto went through fine then when she pulled up my home owners on her computer, the agent tells me that I cant pay my bill right now(even though it was due), she says its her computer, nothing I did but she will run my card through once the system is up working again. I got a letter in the mail today march 25 2013 stating that my home owners policy was cancelled. I have called the same agent all day today with promisses of getting a call back so I can understand why I got cancelled. I will be taking my auto insurance elsewhere.

I saw your commercial where you said hot water heaters and there is no such thing. It is a water heater, if the water was hot why heat it? It is a water heater and even you should know that. If I can't trust you to get that right then why should I trust your insurance?

After almost 25 years of loyalty to Allstate, when I went to collect check for my auto claim, I was assaulted with battery, by their "inspector". He shut the door forcefuolloy on my face, hitting my nose. Can any one expect me
to give this type of company? I will tell all my friends, colleagues and other people about this gruesome attack on me.

We have to complain also about Allstate....
We were quoted a price for auto insurance - paid six-months in advance only to discover the billing or statement from Allstate was $200.00 MORE than quoted by Craig Anderson (agent) in Canton, Georgia.

When we called him about it - he simply made lame excuses that made not sense and were not at all what he said in conversation. He did not take any responsibility for the Bait-n-Switch method of selling... He in no way would stand by his word....

This behavior will not secure customers to Allstate - we will tell this story everywhere we can to expose the bad practices of the people whom Allstate hires to represent them...

Allstate insurance is not what it once was. It's impossible to get correct information or make accurate policy decisions or changes and with the 1800 allstate phone number i was constantly disconnected, (or hung up on) transferred back into the voice mail system and the same thing happened when calling the corporate /executive office. I am disgusted with them and won't use them any longer the rates are much higher than any of the other agencies and it's not worth it since the customer service is like that of a low end insurance company.
