The Land of Nod
847-291-9902
The Land of Nod is mentioned in the Bible as a land of wandering (from the Hebrew verb "nod") and it is also playfully referenced as a land of sleep from Robert Louis Stevenson's children's poem. Founded in 1996 in Northbrook itself, The Land of Nod developed a partnership with Crate and Barrel in 2000 to expand nationwide. Its first store was at Northbrook Court. Stop by for charming children's toys, gifts, clothing and furniture, like the kid-sized Nod Chair, personalized with your little one's name.
