Battery Arrest at Landmark Inn Hilary N. Linz, 28, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery after an incident that took place at the Landmark Inn Sunday, April 1, according to police. Her companion told police that he and Linz had been drinking and smoking marijuana before they got to the bar, and that when they arrived, she “started to act strange,” taking his insulin pump and house keys and refusing to return them. When police arrived, she said that they were “fake cops” and that the situation was not real. Duo Arrested for Credit Card Fraud Georgi Manolov Vasngelov, 24, and Deyan S. Slavchev, 26, both of Schiller Park, were charged with credit card fraud after they were allegedly seen making multiple withdrawals from an ATM at Walgreens Friday, Feb. 25. A caller reported the withdrawals to police, who tracked down their black SUV in the 1900 block of Cherry Lane. Strange Men Approach Young Boys Two men in a silver or grey sedan approached a 13-year-old and 11-year-old boy as they were walking home from school at Willow and Greenwood roads around 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, according to police. The men offered the boys candy, and when they kept walking, asked if they could help find a lost dog.  Warrant Arrest, Suspended License Police stopped Daniel Dominguez-Cruz for driving an overloaded pickup truck at the intersection of Lake Cook Road and the Edens Expressway Saturday, Sept. 18.
