Radovan Vojcic has filed a civil suit against the Lake Cook Health Care Center and says he smashed his computer upon finding photos of his dying father, taken at the nursing home, on Craigslist.
When Radovan Vojcic found photos of his dying father on Craigslist last month, he says he slammed his computer and broke the monitor. "To see a picture like that was unsettling," Vojcic said. "I see the picture pop up in my head at least five times a day." The Jovcic family has filed a civil lawsuit against Northbrook's Lake Cook Health Care Center after photos of Radovan's dying father appeared on Craigslist in October. A year after Radovan Vojcic passed away at the Lake Cook Health Care Center, his son found photos of the dying man at the nursing home on Craigslist, along with insulting remarks, CBS Chicago reports. The attorneys at Fisher & LaMonica are representing the Vojcic family in civil a lawsuit against the nursing home, Courthouse News Service reports. The family has accused the nursing home of invasion of privacy, emotional distress and punitive damages for violating the Nursing Home Care Act during the patent's stay from April through September of 2011. Fisher and LaMonica will remain co-counsel in the wrongful death suit against Union Pacific after a train derailment and subsequent bridge collapse in Northbrook-Glenview.
