Patch Blogger Heads to Inauguration
Deerfield High School sophomore will participate in five-day Presidential Inaugural Leadership Conference.
Do you want an up close and personal view of President Barack Obama’s inauguration Monday as well as some of the events leading up to it? Deerfield High School sophomore and new Patch blogger Lily Zacharias leaves for the Presidential Inaugural Leadership Conference Saturday and will be sending reports back to the Chicago suburbs on her blog. Patch will publish her blogs under Local Voices each time she submits them. They will be the impressions of a North Shore teenager at a major historic event. The Presidential Inaugural Leadership Conference is put on by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council.
