Road Closures (according to Village Hall) Motorists are reminded to NOT remove barricades or drive around barricades. School Closures (according to Emergency Closing Center) Power Outages (according to ComEd) If you experience a ComEd outage, please it to report by calling 1-800-EDISON-1. Sand bags are available to residents at Northbrook's Public Works facility, 655 Huehl Rd. at the west garage entrance. Rivers are at flood stage and basins at Northbrook Court, Pfingsten/Lake-Cook, Techny, and Meadowhill Park are filling. Most schools in Northbrook and Glenview are closed on Tuesday, March 5 due to winter weather.
The following Northbrook and Glenview school districts have cancelled Tuesday, March 5 classes. As of midnight, New Trier High School had not cancelled classes. It was not clear whether Avoca District 37 classes are cancelled. A list of notified school closures can be found at the Emergency Closing Center.

Glenbrook North and South high schools are closing 30 minutes early and canceling after school activities on Tuesday, Feb. 26 because of the blizzard,
District 225 just released the following information, which was sent out to parents at both D225 high schools. Due to inclement weather conditions, Glenbrook South High School will be closing 30 minutes early today Tuesday, February 26. All after school activities and athletics have been cancelled, including the IHSA regional basketball tournament. Due to inclement weather conditions, Glenbrook North High School will be closing 30 minutes early today Tuesday, February 26. Please check the school website for additional information on athletics and after school activities. Both villages advise residents to avoid parking vehicles on the street to assist with proper snow removal.
