Northbrook Trustees Applaud Sheila Bass for Commission Service
Bass organized Northbrook's Black History Month programming, Flamingo Friday and the Interfaith Walk.
Northbrook's President, Trustees and audience members at Tuesday's Village Board meeting gave Sheila Bass a standing ovation for her 13 years of service on the Community Relations Commission. "We need more people like you," Board President Sandy Frum said at the Trustee meeting. The Village Board passed Recognition Resolution 1820 unanimously, cementing Bass's contributions to Northbrook for public record. "During her 13 year tenure as a member of the Northbrook Community Relations Commission, Sheila Bass contributed her leadership skills and passion in various ways for the benefit of the Commission," the resolution reads.
