District 30 Schools Named to State Academic Honor Roll

Two schools from Northbrook-Glenview School District 30 were given the honor for sustaining high academic performance for three consecutive years.

Northbrook-Glenview School District 30 has been given high honors by the Illinois State Board of Education this week. The district has two schools named to the Academic Honor Roll and given the 2012 Academic Excellence Award. Wescott Elementary School and Willowbrook Middle School are among 454 Illinois schools receiving the award. The schools honored all sustained high academic performances over the past three years.  "Congratulations. The ISBE commends you and your faculty on all the good work required to sustain academic excellence in your schools," stated Chris Koch, State Superintendent of Education, in a letter to the school principals.
