I heard and saw the helicopters on December 29th at 7am and was wondering what was going on? I have lived in the River Rd/Oakton area since 1975 and never saw anything like it??? They were so close that the sound was deafening...

The District 62 Parent Communication Council requested media placement training from our electronic and print media outlets.  The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 7 at 6 pm.  Would it be possible for a representative from your news organization to attend, demonstrate (if electronic), and provide tips and tactics for news placement on that evening?  Right now, we are meeting at the Administration Center, 777 E. Algonquin Road, Des Plaines, IL, but we may need to switch locations due to attendee numbers.
