Thanks so much for the luck and the advice! While it's a bit of a challenge now, I think living locally will be much easier this summer.

Definitely, Kristen! I generally don't head out there because it's a bit far and doesn't show as many films as say, University Mall, but I've signed myself up for their newsletter so I can be better aware of what they've got going on. I trust you to be on top of movie bargains. ;) Cheers!

I'm trying to stay a bit closer to home and shop locally, but thanks for letting me know - I'm sure people will be glad to know there's more than one rental option nearby.

Oh brilliant - didn't know it was as simple as microwaving it. I'll definitely have to crowdsource more recipes in the future! Thanks for the advice.

Thanks so much for the tips! Maple Avenue Market is the only grocery store I go to right now - I discovered them when looking for a place to get milk that was open seven days a week. I'll look into the options from Loudon County as well. Thanks for the encouragement, it really helps!

Thanks so much for the luck and the recommendation! I'll check for the book when I'm at the library tomorrow; it sounds like a great read.

ReplyIf you're into bulk-shopping, Costco has a lot of really nice vegetarian options. Some are frozen foods, like some really nice eggplant parm, but a lot of bagged/boxed pastas that only take a few minutes more to prepare are great rush options. They have the best butternut squash ravioli I've ever had, with a honey sort of glaze sauce. Super delicious. Ah, all the things I'm missing out on now! Time to learn how to actually make squash ravioli, I suppose.

I may have to give this a try - my brother was doing something similar, but on a shorter time scale so it got intense really quickly. I'm just glad it's warming up enough for bike riding to be enjoyable again!
