Laura Hickey, Neighbor

Laura is a 2008 graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Photography.  She is an employee of Cook Memorial Library working in the Circulation Department.  Outside of the library, she serves on the Boards of the Libertyville-Mundelein Historical Society and the Libertyville Civic Center. 

Recently, she co-authored <i>Libertyville (Then &amp; Now) </i>with fellow local historians, Arlene Lane and Sonia Schoenfield.  In addition to researching and writing a portion of the book, she was also the sole photographer of the contemporary images used in the publication.  Her other local history projects have included an interactive web exhibit about the History of Cook Memorial Library and a website examining Marlon Brando&#39;s life in Libertyville.
