Scottie Pippen Hosts 4-Day Youth Basketball Camp
Do you want your children to learn basketball from Chicago Bulls Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen?

If they are between 8 and 15, they can have that opportunity Monday through Thursday at Joy of the Game in Deerfield. Find out the times for different age groups so the young athletes can learn from a man with six NBA championship rings.

Wednesday Classic Film Series continues at the Northbrook Public Library with It's a Gift at 7:25 p.m.

Thursday
The Suspicious Minds Mystery Discussion series continues at the Northbrook Public Library with a discussion of Death Comes to Pemberley by P.D. James at 7:00 p.m.

The public is invited to watch top cyclists compete at the Ed Rudolph Velodrome in Meadowhill Park on Thursday nights through September 12.

Friday
Jazz Greats Judy Roberts and Greg Fishman in concert at the Northbrook Public Library auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

Bicycle racing will hit the brakes on Friday, Aug. 16 at the Ed Rudolph Velodrome in Meadowhill Park. That’s the last chance this season for amateur riders of all ages and abilities to experience the official banked bicycle track. For more information, visit nbparks.org or call (847) 291-2980.
